Market women and traders in the Effutu constituency of the Central region have expressed gratitude to the Member of Parliament and Deputy Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin for supporting their businesses over the years.
The Boafo Yena Entrepreneurship & Business support initiative is a campaign promise by the lawmaker prior to the 2020 general elections to provide financial support to traders within the Effutu municipality.
Some beneficiaries told the media that, the initiative will go a long way to increase their financial status and also help in building their businesses.
A Bread seller who could not hide her joy commended the MP for such initiative to support traders and market women as it has been a major headache for many to have access to financial support.
However, leadership of the initiative has assured its commitment to the improvement of constituents livelihood and therefore called for continuous support for the MP.
