A 71-year old man called Efo Kwasi Joseph has allegedly cut off two fingers of his 11-months old biological son with carpentry saw at Kasoa Milinium City in the Gomoa East district of Central region.
According to the suspect’s wife, Juliana Amenasor, she was shocked to see her son loosing his fingers after her husband who is a carpenter took the child to his workshop.
Narrating her ordeal to tv xyz news reporter Alex Donkoh, the child is seriously in pain and cannot stop crying.
She added that money for surgery as well as money to buy medications prescribed by doctors has become a major challenge hence called on the General public for financial support.
She has appealed to the inspector General of Police to intervene and prosecute the wicked husband to serve as deterrent for others.
