A 25-year old fetish priest, Hlorlary Cudjoe has been arrested by community members and handed him over to Awutu Jei – Krodua District Police Command for allegedly killing his girlfriend.
The accused took off the vagina, breast her head and other organs for spiritual purpose at Awutu Bentum near Bontrase in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.
The angry residents have also set the shrine and residence of a fetish priest ablaze after they noticed he had killing his girlfriend and burying her in a bush close to the community.
Some angry residents said the truth came out after a farmer smelled bad odour in his farm.
They narrated that, during a search, they find out that a young lady believed to be in her early 20’s have been killed and buried and when police exhumed the body, they discovered that, her body parts have been removed.
Meanwhile, Assemblyman for Awutu Bontrase Electoral Area, Hon Prince Larbi has expressed worry over the incident since this is the second incident recorded within this week and called for police visibility.
