A 19 -years -old boy (name withheld) may die any moment from now after he is said to have taken his Friend’s Sakawa ring and wear it without informing him at Iron City, a suburb of Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
According to an eyewitness, the victim took the ring and worn it after the suspect who is at large came to a game Center and dropped the ring on a table to which they think is intentional.
The suspect is believed to be a friend of the victim since they live in the same neighbourhood.
“The small boy who took the ring slept on Friday with the ring on his finger till the next day. When the boy woke up on Saturday morning, he decided to take the ring off but couldn’t.
So he drew the attention of other neighbours who in an attempt to help remove the ring led to the ring breaking. Half of the ring pierced the boys’ finger bone with the other half falling off leading to severe pains for the boy. This is because the ring does not need to come in contact with water.” The eyewitness whose name was given us Yaw Mensah narrated to Bryt FM’s reporter, Eric Owusu Amponsah.
In furtherance, the eyewitness said a call was placed to the owner of the ring who is still on the run and he requested the blood of a newborn baby before the portion of the ring pierced into the finger bone could be removed otherwise the boy will die in the shortest time.
