Hon. Ben Abdallah Banda, the Presidential Coordinator for Zongo and Inner-Cities Development Secretariat, has paid a courtesy call on the Central Regional Minister, Justina Marigold as part of his 2-day tour of the Region.
His tour of the region is to help the secretariat to familiarise itself with opportunities and challenges of the Zongo and Inner-City communities in the Central region.
In their interactions, the minister implored Hon. Banda to prioritise the Zongo and Inner-City communities in the region in their programmes and initiatives to aid the development of such communities.
She added that the government is committed to improving the lives of people in Zongo areas and across the country as a whole.
Later, she joined Hon. Banda in a meeting with Constituency NASARA Coordinators to learn about their challenges and to design initiatives and strategies to assist and improve upon their conditions of service.
