A man believed to be in his thirties has been allegedly killed and dumped along roadside at Winneba in the Effutu Municipality of the Central Region.
The deceased who is suspected to be an armed robber was on Friday, morning found dead with a knife and screw driver beside him.
It is suspected he was caught in the act of stealing and was killed instantly.
He was lying lifeless along the Winneba Water Works Road near ICGC Church.
Residents who went to the scene suspects that the deceased is a notorious armed robber who has been harrasing and stealing from them in the area.
According to some residents, thieves are tormenting and disturbing them in the area.
Police at Winneba has conveyed the body to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital Mortuary for autopsy and preservation.
Meanwhile, police have launched investigation into the matter.
