Unidentified man has been found dead in a river at Gomoa Akoti Bankyease on Thursday morning causing fear and panic among residents in the area.
Bryt Fm News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah upon visiting the scene, saw the lifeless body in the river with no cut or fracture.
It’s not clear whether he was killed by an assilant or he may have suffered from an epileptic disease.
Residents have been thrown into a state of shock since the river he finds himself in serve as the only source of drinking water in the area.
Police in Gomoa Ojobi District Command is yet to convey the body to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Morgue at the time of filling this report.
Residents have disclosed the deceased is not known in the area neither an indigene of the Gomoa Akoti Bankyease community.
