A group calling itself Gomoa Ojobi Youth Movement in Gomoa East District of the Central Region has been compelled to organize communal labor to repair deplorable Ojobi to Senya Beraku road as government neglects the community.
The deteriorated road network has been attributed to rampant highway robbery attacks and miscarriages of pregnant women in the community.
Tufuhene of the Gomoa Ojobi Community, Nana Kow Kwese ii who was also supporting the Youth to patch the road told Bryt News Eric Ohene Amponsah that, the movie has become imperative as both the Central government and District Assembly have failed to rehabilitate the road.
He said the poor state of the road is affecting the local economy as drivers are refusing to ply the road.
He said drivers visit mechanical shops for the repair of their vehicles upon a round trip on the road whiles some vehicles also break down on the road due to the deplorable nature road.
