Three persons died on the spot whiles 15 others were seriously injured after a Toyota Vitz with registration number GW 907-24 collided with a Toyota Hiace(AW 78-22) vehicle belonging to O.A Express at Winneba junction on the Kasoa-Cape Coast Highway in the Central Region.
Speaking to Bryt Fm News, Winneba Municipal Fire Service Commander D.0.2 Fredrick Adu – Poku revealed the driver of the Toyota Vitz tried to overtake a tricycle infront of him and in the process collided with the O.A Express vehicle loaded from Accra to Obuasi.

D.0.2 Fredrick Adu Poku said both cars veered off the highway running into a ditch.
He narrated tht one male and two females died at the spot whiles the remaining 15 people have been admitted at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.

D.0.2. Fredrick Adu- Poku however cautioned drivers to drive with extra care since it is an election year and heading towards Christmas festivities to reduce road accidents.
