Ethiopian referee Bamlak Tessema Wayesa has been appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate the CAF Champions League final Group D game between CR Belouizdad from Algeria and Ghana’s Medeama SC.
He will be assisted by compatriots Temesgin Samuel Samuel Atango (Assistant I), Tigle Gizaw Belachew (Assistant Il), Belay Tadesse Asserese (Fourth Official).
Yanfore Issa Yanmien from Niger is the Match Commissioner. Others include Libya’s Mohamed Abdalla Mohamed – Referee Assessor, Wajdi Aouadi, General Coordinator from Tunisia and Souleymane Cherif – Security Officer from Côte D’Ivoire.
The game is scheduled for 17H00 kick off at the 5th July 1962 stadium in Algiers on Friday, March 1, 2023.
