Former Real Tamale United midfielder David Abagna was on target for Al Hilal in the CAF Champions League this afternoon.
Abagna put up an impressive show for the Sudanese giants in their 2-0 home win over Coton Sport in round 4 fixture of the Group B.
The former Black Galaxies star shot his side into the lead in the 41st minute mark. Al Hilal had to go to recess with a one goal advantage.
After the break, the home team doubled their lead through Makabi Lilepo, who scored from the penalty spot.
The win sends Al Hilal to the summit of Group B in the CAF Champions League, with 9 points after four games.
The 24-year-old has been impressive since joining the Sudanese club from the Ghana Premier League outfit.
Abagna joined Al Hilal in January on a three-year deal, keeping him at the club until 2026.
