Dreams FC coach Karim Zito is delighted with his outfit victory over Rivers United in the CAF Confederations Cup group stage.
The Still Believe lads inflicted a 2-1 win over the Nigerian outfit to return to winning ways after early setback against Club Africain.
Goals from John Antwi and Abdul Aziz Issah goals were enough for the host to snatch victory at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
“We lost last week and we are back to winning ways this week. As I said from the beginning, our motto in this game was to win at all cost so that pushed us to that level. I’m very happy that at least we have a win at home”
“In this competition, you don’t have to joke with your home games, you have to do everything possible to win your home games because when you look at the dynamics in the games, sometimes your opponent come and then try to stop you from scoring but you also have to go all out and then get what you want, so I’m okay” he said after the game.
Dreams FC will travel to face Angolan outfit Academica do Lobito in their third group game of the Confederations Cup this weekend.
