Father of French International, Kylian Mbappe has narrated how some officials of the Cameroon Football Federation wanted to charge a sum of money in a bid to allow his son play for the national team.
In a post few hours after France lost to Argentina in the just ended 2022 FIFA World Cup at Qatar, father of the Golden Boot award player revealed he could not raised the amount in question at the time to play for Cameroon.
He however, indicated that Kylian Mbappe did not pay anything to any official in gaining access to play for the French national team.
He posted:
“At first l wanted my son to play for Cameroon but, someone at the Cameroon Football Federation charged a sum of money that l didn’t have to make him play. The French didn’t charge anything”.
