A two day capacity building training for staff of the Parliamentary Visitors Centre has been held in Accra.
The training is focused on strengthening staff competencies and fostering teamwork to improve overall operational efficiency within the Public Affairs subdivision.
In brief opening remarks, the coordinating director for public affairs subdivision, Madam Kate Addo provided an overview of the day’s objective, outlined the key focus areas and offered valuable insights that enriched discussions throughout the session
Deputy Clerk C&FMS, Dr. Gloria Sarku Kumawu, facilitated an engaging session on data protection, emphasising key compliance obligations, the responsible management of visitor Information and the critical role of data protection in safeguarding personal data while reinforcing public confidence in parliamentary operations.
A session facilitated by Mr.Billson K. Gordon Brown, CET-Accra focused on effective customer service practices.The session highlighted the importance of professional conduct,quality visitor engagement and practical strategies to enhance service delivery.
