Ghanaian songstress Efya has pleaded with authorities in the country to kindly castrate rapists when they lay their hands on one.
Rape cases in the country have been on the rise for some time now and this distressing act by some male individuals has caused a lot of painful memory in the minds of some women and kids as they find it difficult to erase.
Speaking in an interview with an Accra based radio station; Efya practically beseeched the government to add castration to the punishments of rapists in the country.
“I will go for castration of the men who are involved in raping ladies. This is because if we castrate a few of them, they will stop. They are very attached to that part of the body that they use in this act and if we take it away from them the same way they take away our dignity and our pride and our power. When they rape us when we are three years old, they need to be castrated”, she averred.
