Bibiani Goldstars striker Abednego Tetteh shifted his attention to the task ahead after emerging as goal king in the just-ended Ghana Premier League campaign.
Tetteh rediscovered his form after joining Bibiani Goldstars in the second half of the domestic top-flight.
Before joining the miners, Tetteh had only scored two goals for King Faisal in the first round of the season.
Following an improved performance at Goldstars, Tetteh emerged as the goal king, scoring 18 goals between King Faisal and Goldstars.
In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Tetteh expressed gratitude to God and the playing body whiles he turns attention to the new season.
Asked about how he feels winning the goal king, he said, “It’s normal feeling. You give thanks to God when you get the needed result like this. The most important thing is, I will give thanks to God, my coaches and teammates for helping me to achieve this feat. Celebrations are over, we are looking forward to next season”
Speculation has also emerged linking him to Asante Kotoko, but no official announcements have been made regarding his future.
