Ghana’s Black Galaxies have arrived in Constantine ahead of their opening game against Madagascar at the Championship of African Nations tournament in Algeria.
The team left Algiers, where they have been training for the past week to Constantine for their Group C games.
The CHAN tournament will commence on Friday, January 13, with the Black Galaxies taking on Madagascar on Sunday, January 15.
Before their departure, the Black Galaxies had played Algeria and Mozambique in friendlies.
The team shared the spoils with Algeria whiles the Mozambique clash ended abruptly.
Ghana led by coach Annor Walker will continue preparations before Sunday’s clash against Madagascar.
Ghana will open their campaign on 15 January against Madagascar before taking on Sudan four days later.
Their final Group C match will be against tournament-favourites Morocco on 23 January 23.
Meanwhile, it is said Morocco has pulled out of the tournament due to flight issues between host country, Algeria.
All three matches will be played in the city of Constantine.
Ghana were in the final of the inaugural tournament, losing to DR Congo in the final before suffering another defeat to Libya in 2014.
