The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Chad referee Alhadji Allaou Mahamat to officiate Ghana’s epic clash against Sudan in the 2023 Championship for African Nations (CHAN) tournament.
The Black Galaxies will take on Sudan in their second Group C game on Thursday at the Chahid Hamlaoui stadium in Constantine at 7 pm local time.
Ahead of the clash, CAF has settled on the 36-year-old Chad referee to handle the much-anticipated game.
He will be assisted by Algerian Assistants, Abbes Akram Zerhouni (Assistant I), Brahim El Hamlaoui Sid Ali (Assistant II), while Celso Armindo Alvacao serves as the fourth Referee. Pedro Alogo Ondo Abeku from Equatorial Guinea will work as the Match Commissioner.
