Legendary Ghanaian Sports journalist, Kwabena Yeboah has charged African politicians to change from the toxic attitude after gaining power because the way of their leadership has become harmful to the citizens.
Speaking in an interview on Accra Based-Television, Kwabena Yeboah specified that numerous African politicians come to power to gain wealth for themselves and they are generally without thinking about the people in the country.
This, according to him, Politicians should be about serving people instead of African politicians all the time consider how they can make their home rich and nothing else.
He further stated Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ exposé on the rot in Ghana football appears to have had no impact as corruption still thrives in the industry.
“There are people who think Anas has come to spoil our sport but even after the Number 12 expose’ some of these things are still going on. It means his work has been in vain,” he said.
Kwabena Yeboah says he wasn’t shocked about the revelations made in the work by Anas.
“We knew our game was corrupt and rotten. We knew that some of the referees were pure criminals and holding teams to ransom,” he added.
