Mr. Stephen Amoah, Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso Constituency in the Ashanti Region has condemned the inauguration chaos that occurred in the eighth Parliament recently.
He noted both the NPP and NDC members did wrong and said Members must apologize to Ghanaians immediately.
Speaking on Joy FM’s Personality Profile monitored by mybrytfmonline.com, the immediate past Chief Executive Officer for Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), who is now in Parliament, Stephen Amoah, said he was shocked that those involved in the chaos were members who know the standing orders of Parliament.
Mr.Amoah congratulated his colleagues who are new in Parliament and was optimistic that they will soon be familiar with the standing orders in the floor and work for the Country.
In June 2020 he won the primaries for the Nhyiaeso Constituency after defeating an incumbent member of parliament Kennedy Kwasi Kankam who had unseated Dr. Richard Winfred Anane in the 2016 NPP primaries.
He won by garnering 332 votes while the incumbent had 315 votes out of the 647 total votes cast.
