The Development chief (Nkɔsoɔhene) of Asuokaw in the Upper West Akyem District of the Eastern Region, Nana Kumi Asare Bediako has donated 150 mathematical sets to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the district are to be used for the Exams which begin from 15th November to 19th November 2021.
Beneficiaries are Asuokaw Methodist A and B Basic School, Asuokaw Zion, Islamic Basic School, Holy Preparatory school, and Presbyterian Basic School.
Speaking to the beneficiaries and receivers at a separate ceremony, Nana Kumi Asare Bediako said it forms part of his social responsibilities to the people.
He called on Candidates to use a few days ahead to prepare themselves well and come out with good results and commended Teachers for their support to the candidates for the past three years in School.
The Assembly member for Asuokaw Electoral area, Mr. Joseph Kwaw advised the candidates to be focused on the examination days and avoid any action that will jeopardize their future.
The beneficiaries thanked the chief for his kind gesture and Pledged to make good use of it.
