Police have arrested seven individuals today, November 30, 2023, for their involvement in indiscriminate firing during the installation of a paramount Chief at Sampa in the Bono Region.
The indiscriminate firing resulted in seven people sustaining gunshot wounds, with one unfortunate fatality.
The police successfully retrieved two single barrel guns believed to be used during the incident.
All seven suspects are currently in police custody, providing assistance to ongoing investigations into the incident.

Some are linking the incident to the tension between Ashante and Dormaa.
