Former Black Stars winger Frank Acheampong has completed a move to Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yingbo Haifa ahead of the new campaign.
The 32-year-old experienced attacker joins the club on a one-year deal after ending his spell with fellow Super League outfit Henan FC at the closure of the 2025 football season in the Asian country.
Despite efforts to retain Acheampong with a new offer, the experienced attacker opted for a new challenge, signing for Dalian Yingbo Haifa ahead of the upcoming season.
With his wealth of experience, Dalian Yingbo Haifa is hopeful that the Ghana international can contribute significantly towards the growth of the club.
Acheampong is not new to Chinese football and is expected to light up the league, which kick start next month.
Last season, Acheampong, a member of the Black Stars 2015 Africa Cup of Nations finalists delivered an outstanding performance for Henan FC, racking up 14 goals and providing three assists, underlining his status as one of the league’s most dangerous attackers.
The former Anderlecht star was instrumental when Henan FC reached the finals of the Chinese FA Cup competition, where they fell short to giants Beijing Guoan.
