Christians in Ghana to hold one Day National Prayer and Rally against LGBTQI+ fast festering in the country.
The event is being organized by Christian Council of Ghana(CCG), Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference (GCBC), National Association of Charismatic and Christian Churches (NACCC) ,Ghana Pentecostal and Christian Council (GPCC) and all other Ecumenical Bodies in Ghana.
The national prayer and rally has been scheduled to come off on 21st March,2021.
The leadership of the various Christian faith groups will meet at the Church of Pentecost Burma Camp Worship Center -Accra to pray on the subject matter .
The theme for the National Prayer and Rally against LGBTQI+ is ” Homosexuality: A Detestable sin to God”.
LGBTQI+ community in Ghana have intensified advocacy for the protection of their right creating huge public aproar since LGBTQI + is not only illegal but also abominable act in Ghanaian culture.
Ghana security forces raided and shut down the National office of an LGBTQI+ rights group in the capital, Accra last month.
