Climate activists from Africa fear that with the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, as well as Russia’s war against Ukraine, no one from the West is listening to their concerns about the effects of climate change on the African continent.
The 21st meeting of the Committee for the Review of the Implementation of the Convention (CRIC 21), a subsidiary body to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), is taking place from November 13-17, 2023 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
