Coach Edward Nii Odoom has ruled out signing new players for Hearts of Oak ahead of the season despite the exit of star man Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi.
The Ghana Premier League is set to start on November 13 and according to the trainer, it will not be necessary for him to sign any other player following the exit of the aforementioned players.
“I have my squad already. I have at least 28 players, maybe we will need one or two players but any point it is not necessary. Some of my boys have exited the club so there are some areas that I will need to fill”
“If I should sign a player it will be a striker but the team is intact now. If Esso and Kordzi are gone we have boys to replace them but we will need a striker and as I speak if we get the opportunity we will add” he said.
The Phobians have failed to win the domestic league title since 2009 and Odoom and his charges have set sights on winning the 2020/2021 edition.
