The third National Vice Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic party (NPP), Alhaji Masawud Osman has expressed his grievances over the suspected drug trafficking and money laundering activities in at the Kotoka International Airport.
According to the third National Vice Chairman of the NPP, government must take all allegations seriously, and to ensure a thorough and transparent investigation in the matter.
Speaking on Bryt Adekye Mu Nsem on Wednesday 09 April, Masawud Osman called on President John Dramani Mahama to fire Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister of State in Charge of Government Communication in order to protect his legacy, as he described Felix Kwakye Ofosu as a total liar.
“If the NDC claims they know nothing about the allegations, then they should allow themselves for a transparent investigation to run through than to tell Ghanaians that the rumors circulating globally are false”, Masawud Osman told the host, Kwahu Dehyee.
On Felix Kwakye Ofosu’s statement saying ‘It is not necessary and waste of time to embark on investigation into the allegations’, Masawud Osman stated that Kwakye Ofosu should not have come out with such statement, adding the suspected drug trafficking and money laundering issue is a critical one which can dent the reputation of the country.
He vowed that the NPP will continue to talk about the issue till Ghanaians get to know the root source and expose President John Mahama and the NDC.
