The Ministry of Transport has presented an overview of its 2025 budget report outlining its funding plans and updates on ongoing projects as well as its 2026 budget on forthcoming projections to the Committee on Roads and Transport.
The Ministry also highlighted its challenges including unfunded critical projects and delayed salary payments for Ghana Railway Company workers.
The Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Mensah Adjei, congratulated the Ministry and its agencies for the detailed presentation and requested frequent meetings to support the Minister of Transport.
He also encouraged the Ministry to manage its finances effectively and to further develop the Railway sector.
