Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has advised Formal President John Dramani Mahama to confess his sins to the Lord in order to become born again.
According to him, until former President John Mahama becomes born again, there is no way he can change his dishonest ways.
Reacting to the statement made by Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Peter Boamah Otokunor that John Dramani Mahama will correct all the mistakes if he is becoming president again; Chairman Wontumi explained that John Mahama is a very dishonest man who can’t be trusted with the destiny of Ghana.
In an interview on an Accra based radio station Mr. Otokunor revealed that the NDC’s flagbearer has realised his mistakes and is ready to make amends adding that John Mahama was coming in with sincerity, a renewed sense of commitment and strength.
In response to Mr. Otokunor, Chairman Wontumi stated categorically that “dishonesty is still in the blood of John Mahama” and for that reason he could never change.
Chairman Wontumi said until John Mahama becomes born again and confess his sins to the Lord, he can never change.
