Ghana Football Association bid to complete the 2019/2020 league could hit a snag as a ban on football activities remains unchanged.
The GFA recently indicated that it will make a decision on the Ghana Premier League whether to continue or not until at least June amid the Covid-19 disruptions.
President of the country, Nana Akuffo Addo addressing the nation on Sunday, May 31, 2020, stated ardently that ban on sporting activities remained untouched as his administration seeks to combat the pandemic.
Again, the President Despite easing social gathering restrictions did not include the lifting of bounds on football activities in the country.
The President indicated that the ban on football activities in Ghana will remain in force until at least 31st July 2020.
However, this move by the president has put the continuation of the football season into jeopardy.
