Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Sani Mohammed has urged Ghanaians to abide by the precautionary measures so to avoid contracting the deadly coronavirus.
The deadly disease has wrecked the world for some time now but the former Hearts of Oak keeper want Ghanaians to adhere to the safety precautions by expects.
Sani, who is now a Police Officer sharing his thought on the disease entreated Ghanaians to stick to the precautionary measures touted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the government.
In government bid to help solve the rapid growth of the disease in the country, the President, Nana Akuffo ordered for a partial lockdown in both Greater Accra and Ashanti region respectively a week ago.
The disease has led to the suspension of all football-related activities in the country including the Ghana Premier League.
However, the former safer pair of hands of the rainbow boys has urged Ghanaians to comply with the directives by staying at home.
“I will entreat Ghanaians to obey the rules and regulations put forth by the government. They should make sure they stay at home which is for our own interest. The more we go out, the more we spread the disease with the people
“Wash your hands regularly with soap and follow instructions from experts. The use of hand sanitizers should not be ignored”
“Again, obey the security personnel because we are also human beings and are exposed to the disease. I will plead with fellow Police Officers to also abide the social distancing by knowing how they handle things,” he said.
