The disease, also known as Convid-19, has so far infected 503, 203 people globally, resulting in the suspension of most football competitions, including the Ghana Premier League.
The number of global deaths stands at 22, 340 with China and Italy among the most affected nations.
But the Ashantigold left-back sharing his thought on the deadly coronavirus said, “First been home now it’s important because the world is fighting a virus. My health is more important now than football” he told Bryt FM in an interview.
“As I speak, I have been in the house since our game with Karela United with my family. So I will urge everyone in the country to be safe by staying home. We should adhere to instructions from health authorities to free ourselves from this deadly virus” he said.
