Sports minister, Mustapha Ussif witnessed the official handing over of jerseys by the Bank of Ghana to the 20 Women’s Premiership Clubs.
GHALCA, in collaboration with the Bank of Ghana, mobilised two sets of jerseys for each club in order to support, consolidate, and facilitate the development of women’s football in Ghana.
In his brief speech, the minister congratulated GHALCA for their unwavering efforts to improve football for all genders and encouraged them to do more.
He also urged cooperate organisations to promote sports development through sponsorship, CSR, partnership, and other diverse means.
Finally, Hon. Mustapha Ussif reiterateed Government’s commitment to sports development by providing an update on the numerous sports infrastructure projects embarked Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration.
