Medeama SC midfielder, Kwasi Donsu has admitted that the Coronavirus pandemic has affected his career plans.
According to him, a lot of agents in the course of the season were on his neck seeking for his signature but says it unfortunate the novel pandemic has halted everything.
Donsu in 2019 was farmed out for a season-long loan to the American side, Colorado Spring Switchbacks FC but could not make the contracts permanent after the 2019 USL season.
In an interview with Koforidua based Bryt FM, he expressed desire to travel to Europe and is of the view the outbreak of the disease has halted his plans to achieve his plans.
“I have played in the USL in America before but right now my target is to move to Europe in the coming days. There are a lot of agents who want to work with me but it’s unfortunate the coronavirus has halted everything”
“We are unable to travel outside the country because of the pandemic. I pray we can get rid of the disease as soon as possible so I can achieve my target”
“I’m still in talks and preparing for any opportunity that comes my way. I’m ready to join any European team that seeks my services”
“I will be happy to play in Europe but I don’t have a specific club I want to play for but it is my aim to continue my career in Europe,” he said.
