The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly has widen its effort in the fight against the new deadly Coronavirus by placing ‘Veronica buckets’, soaps and other materials at vantage points within the municipality.
The move, according to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Madam Comfort Asante, would go a long way to help in the spread of the virus in the area.
According to the hardworking MCE, her outfit is poised to ensuring the municipality protect it citizens from the deadly virus, which has already infected about 24 persons with one recorded death in Ghana.
She added, the Assembly led by the Information Services Department (ISD) with the support of all the other departments has intensified educational campaign to make citizens aware of how to protect themselves from been infected with the virus.
Madam Comfort Asante, however, urged the general public to follow all directives by the President and other key authorities and agencies at all times since it is the only way to deal with the spread of the disease.
