Koforidua District Pastor of Musama Disco Christo Church (MDCC), Rev. Isaac Abeiku Aggrey has sent a piece of advice to the sex workers to quit from their business amid the COVID-19 to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
During an interview with Bryt FM reporter, Abba Kwegyirba, Rev. Abeiku Aggrey affirmed that most people have multiple sexual partners which they tend to visit often. And with such an act the deadly disease can easily spread because one might not know who is a carrier of the virus.
He stated that some men are found of patronizing sex workers for a minute satisfaction and that is very dangerous therefore it can delay the government’s exertions to fight against the spread of the coronavirus.
Rev. Isaac Abeiku Aggrey however, urged that government to place a ban on sex business saying that is one of the factors that spread the virus most.
