The Minister of Railways Development, Hon Lawyer Joe Ghartey, says their work will slow down due to the pandemic disease that is prevalent over the world.
According to him, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa has put measures in place to restrict foreign travels which he believes will affect Ghana-Burkina Railway Interconnectivity Project.
Hon Lawyer Joe Ghartey said their work is about travelling and because of the coronavirus it will prevent them from going out there to perform their work.
“Coronavirus has become a problem across the world hence our work will not be effective in the country”.
“We have constructed many rail lane in the various regions of the country to help Ghanaian to travel faster,” said the Minister.
On Friday’s edition of Dadi Fm morning show “Efa Wo Ho” with host Abena Opokua Ahwenee, Hon Lawyer Joe Ghartey said many countries have awarded them due to their hard-working.
He urges all Ghanaians to pay serious attention to this outbreak and practice good sanitation.
