Countries taking part in the 2020 African Cadet/Junior Fencing Championship to be held at the University of Cape Coast have started trooping in.
South Africa and Egypt arrived on Saturday afternoon ahead of Fencing African Cadet and Junior Championship 2020.
The Egyptian team is made of 29 contingents, while South Africa made of 19 contingents
All the necessary arrangement has been made and the contingent is on their way to Cape Coast, the tournament is expected to kick start on Monday 24-29 February 2020.
Algeria team will be arriving just like Tunisia, Nigeria, Togo, Angola Uganda are also expected to arrive on Sunday and other countries will arrive in the subsequent days.
The association is going through a lot of challenges due to lack of funds says the hard-working president of the association, Mohammed Mahadi.
They are in consultation with the NSA and the Ministry of Youth & Sports for assistance, but no positive response from both parties has been heard.
