Ghana has recorded 236 new confirmed cases of coronavirus increasing the country’s active case count to 1,469.
The number of recoveries and discharges are 48,091 out of 49,808 total confirmed cases recorded since the pandemic reeled in the country.
The number of death toll remains 320, despite the latest update by the Ghana Health Service Thursday.
Among the dead are some top political figures in the country with the latest being former President Jerry John Rawlings.
