The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has lifted partial lockdown imposed on Greater Accra and Kumasi as well as Kasoa in the Central region, effective Monday, 20th April 2020.
Meanwhile, he has charged the public to go by the social distancing directives among many other protocols to curtail the spread of the virus.
President Akufo-Addo made the announcement in his 7th live telecast address to Ghanaians on Sunday, 19th April 2020.
He added that the government has also procured drones to help in the transfer of samples to medical laboratories to speed up testing.
According to the first gentleman of the land, the magnificent effort of health professionals cannot be overemphasized considering their commitment in line with their duties.
