Ghana’s COVID-19 Active cases have increased from 973 to 1,174 as of 13th December 2021.
The death toll from March 2020 to 13th December stands at 1,257, According to Ghana Health Service Report.
Three regions, i.e., Ashanti, Greater Accra, and Volta, have the bulk of infections, that is 148,638 and 13 respectively, while cases among travelers at the Kotoka International Airport is 365
Ahafo, North East, Oti, and Western North, at the moment, have zero (0) active cases and the rest have single-digit cases.
On Tuesday, 14th December, the Ghana Health Service took delivery of seventeen million, seven hundred and thirty-six thousand, seven hundred and ten (17,736,710) vaccine doses and expecting an additional eight million, five hundred and twenty-nine thousand, and ninety (8,529,090) doses by the end of the year.
Ghana Health Service has been able to administer only six million, nine hundred and twenty-four thousand, two hundred and sixty-seven (6,924,267) doses out of the 17.7 million we have at our disposal.
The number of persons fully vaccinated stands at 2,005,844, representing 10% of the target, and 5,181,763 representing 25.9% persons who have received at least one dose.
