Flagbearer of the biggest opposition party in Ghana, National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has said that he will institute better measures to protect Ghanaians from the pandemic disease when he wins 2020 presidential election.
According to him, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has failed in fighting the pandemic disease.
“Our cases are increasing because of the poor measures instituted by the current government’’ said the Formal President.
“We will try our possible best to protect our people from the novel coronavirus,’’ he added.
Ghana has recorded 567 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total national tally to 39,642.
He said after acquiring his Voter’s ID card on Wednesday, 5 August 2020 at his hometown Bole in the Savanna Region, Mr. Mahama said many people are losing their lives as a result of Coronavirus.
