Management of Koforidua Technical University (KTU) has indefinitely postponed the 16th Congregation of the University which was scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2020.
A statement issued and signed by the Registrar Dr. Mensah- Livingstone said the decision to suspend the graduation ceremony complies with the government’s directives on the ban of public gatherings as a measure to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
The statement, however, explained that certificates of the Bachelor of Technology graduands are ready for collection at the Students’ Services Department.

In compliance with the Government’s directives on the ban of public gatherings in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic, the 16th Congregation of the University, which was initially scheduled for Saturday, 18th April 2020, has been postponed until further notice.
However, certificates of the Bachelor of Technology graduands are ready for collection at the Students’ Services Department. Graduands will be required to pay Three Hundred and Fifty Cedis (GH¢350.00) to cover expenses for the Congregation before collecting their certificates.
Graduands are to pay the fees into the University’s account, namely, KOFORIDUA TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY D/S ACCOUNT NUMBER 2011010016896301 at any networked branch of ADB.
The Congregation would be held at a later date. Those who pay the fees now will participate in the Congregation without making any further payments.
Certificates of Higher National Diploma (HND) graduands will be issued as and when they are ready.
