The Kwahu East District Assembly in support of the country’s fight against the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19) has presented 122 thermometer guns, 1,683 Hand Sanitizers, 3,366 nose masks, 30 gallons of soap and veronica buckets for onward distribution in all Junior High Schools in the District.
This according to the District Chief Executive for Kwahu East, Hon Isaac Agyapong is an effort to help contain the spread of the global pandemic. In line with that, the gesture is to help various schools in the District to equip with the needed materials.
He urges teachers to offer selfless services to the students and assured of the District Assembly’s commitment to complementing the government’s efforts in the fight against the disease.
Hon. Isaac Agyapong further charged the students to adhere to the precautionary guidelines given by the health experts to avoid the deadly disease in the district.
He also urged the District Education Directorate to put the items to good use and also advised Social Distancing in their work life.
