Ghana’s Minister of Health Kwaku Agyemang Manu has admonished citizenry to refrain from laughing and singing out to help stop the spread of Coronavirus in the country.
Speaking at a press conference Thursday, May 14, 2020, at the Ministry of Information the Health Minister said scientists have indicated that the Virus spreads whenever an infected person laughs or sings without a nose mask.
He said this should be complied with aside the social distancing, frequent hand washing with Soap, wearing of masks to help curb the spread.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s novel coronavirus cases have risen to 5,530 with recoveries also rising to 674.
The cases have risen by 122 from the previous figure of 5,408
13 Out of 16 regions in Ghana have recorded cases. Savanna, Bono, and Ahafo regions are the three regions yet to record cases.
Eastern Region case count still stands at 99.
