The Ghana Child Labour Monitoring System (GCLMS) is a system developed by the Ghanaian government to track, manage and eventually eliminate child labour in our country.
Child Rights International (CRI), has adopted this system and with a few adjustments and additions has been able to track child labour in all our project areas and based on these findings provide lasting solutions to the problem.
CRI had the opportunity to present the status of the GCLMS report to the National Steering Committee on Child Labour in Ghana at the Ministry of Labour and Employment on November 26, 2019.
“We hope the findings and suggestions will contribute to the total elimination of child labour in our communities and further promote the rights of children” Bright Appiah, Executive Director of CRI stated.
GCLMS is the new hope for dealing with child labour in Ghana and Child Rights International is committed to it.
