Cudjoe Adukpo, a tutor at St. Paul’s Technical School in Akyem Kukurantumi, has been appointed as the Eastern Regional Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO).
Adukpo has a strong political background, having served in various capacities within the National Democratic Congress (NDC), including as the Eastern Regional Secretary.
He replaces Kwame Appiah Kodua,now Member of Parliament for Fanteakwa North.
Cudjoe Adulpo’s appointment is expected to bring fresh energy and restructuring to NADMO’s operations in the Eastern Region, ensuring the organization effectively delivers on its mandate.
The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), operating under the Ministry of the Interior, was established by Act 517 of 1996 to manage disasters and emergencies across the country.
As the raining season approaches, Cudjoe Adukpo’s leadership is anticipated to enhance disaster preparedness, prevention,response, and recovery efforts in the region.
