The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama’s special assistant, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, has called the current Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration the worst in Ghanaian history.
Her comments are made in the midst of an ongoing economic crisis that is being negatively impacted by power outages for both residents and companies.
On April 23, 2024, the former Deputy Transport Minister emphasized on social media the government’s mishandling of the economy, pervasive corruption, lack of employment prospects, and the nation’s startling debt, which surpasses 610 billion Ghanaian cedis.
Mogtari also drew attention to the insufficient supply of basic utilities including inexpensive food, power, and water.
She called on Ghanaians to use their right to vote responsibly and supported unseating the existing government in favor of more qualified leaders.
“The Akufo Addo/ Bawumia government will go down in history as the worst government ever! A case of mismanagement of the economy, unbridled corruption, no jobs, the country is saddled with a humongous debt of over 610 billion GHC with nothing to show, we have no water, no electricity and even food is very expensive.
Ghana suffers from poor and ineffective leadership, please vote wisely, vote this inept government out, Ghana deserves better!”
