Ghana international Daniel Amartey is enduring a difficult time at Leicester City under new manager, Dean Smith.
Amartey has fallen out of favour at the Foxes, missing six straight games in the English Premier League.
He was not in action on Monday when Liverpool inflicted a 3-0 win over the Foxes at the King Power Stadium.
A brace from Curtis Jones and Alexander Arnold’s strike ensured Liverpool cruise to a comfortable victory at the away.
The 28-year-old last appearance for Leicester came against Bournemouth on April 8, 2023.
The defender watched from the bench against Manchester City, Wolves, Leeds United, Everton, Fulham and Liverpool.
He has featured 20 times out of 36 games in the English top-flight this season.
