Defender Denis Korsah will not feature for Hearts of Oak in the upcoming campaign following his departure.
The 28-year-old was not in action when the Phobians defeated Heart of Lions to lift the 2024 Gbese Mantse Homowo Charity Peace Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.
And coach Aboubakar Ouattara speaking after the game confirmed Korsah’s departure from the club ahead of the new season.
“We are in a new era and this time, it is not about names. The names is not important. It is a strategy we are putting in place to fit everyone”
“Michael Ampadu is injured that is why he didn’t play but for Korsah, he is not with us anymore” he said.
Korsah joined the Phobians in 2022 from Ebusua Dwarfs following an impressive performance at the time.
He was instrumental when the Ghanaian giants lifted both the FA Cup and President Cup in 2022.
